Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Designer located in St Albert, AB. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for setting up projects, drafting floor plans, doing lighting calculations, specifying light fixtures, creating single line diagrams, creating power riser diagrams, and performing site reviews to check the progress of construction.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, the Alberta Building Code, and the National Fire Code.
- Understand electrical design principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Revit is a plus.
