Job Details
High-end furniture retailer is seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Manager to oversee our furniture warehouse operations. The role involves managing inventory control, staff supervision, shipping/receiving, and ensuring workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in furniture or retail logistics, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking/packing, and shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and oversee stock forecasting and replenishment
- Organize warehouse layout and implement efficiency improvements
- Review load sheets and manage truck loads, ensuring loads are balanced and correctly prepared
- Inspect and verify stock and shipments, including leather dye lots
- Ensure all pickups are inspected, loaded, and ready for dispatch
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervision experience in high-volume environments
- Experience in furniture or retail logistics preferred
Job Details
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: $26.00 – $29.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
