Binnie has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Coordinator to join our modern 41,000 square foot corporate Head Office of 230 staff near scenic Deer Lake in Burnaby.

This full-time, permanent position requires an adaptable worker with potential for future growth. This position also offers a hybrid working environment. As part of our Proposal Team, you will support our business development efforts by producing high quality proposals. You will work closely with our subject matter experts—Project Managers, Engineers, Surveyors, and Landscape Architects—to write about our services and skills in a compelling way.

During slower periods you may be tasked with other duties such as editing reports or other administrative tasks that support the Proposal Team.

YOUR ROLE:

Supporting Proposal Team in researching, gathering, and organizing proposal content, resumes, project highlight sheets
Coordinating proposals from beginning to end, collating, and organizing inputs, and communicating with colleagues to ensure milestones are met
Supporting the proposal process by drafting templates, coordinating and attending meetings, compiling and tracking materials, proofreading, formatting, and performing final quality control checks to ensure Request for Proposal (RFP) compliance prior to submission
Writing, reviewing, and editing standard content used for proposals including resumes, project highlight sheets, and other supporting information
Collaborating with the various Binnie Divisions to research and develop content for proposals and related documents
Providing general proposal duties as needed

WHAT YOU BRING:

1-2 years of experience in preparing proposals or writing grants
Diploma or Degree in English/Communications/Marketing or other relevant programs
Strong business/technical writing and editing skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic skills in Microsoft Project
Keen eye for detail and document layout skills (design experience with Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset)
Exceptional ability to manage multiple competing demands and consistently meet deadlines
Flexible and adaptable personality
Experience in the consulting industry is considered an asset

Salary is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $54,000 – $64,000 annually.%1324294% %%management%%
