to begin September 2024 (Posting will remain open until position is filled) Are you a passionate early childhood educator, who is looking to work in an alternative setting?. We are seeking someone to work in and coordinate our licenced Before and Afterschool Care programs. Monday to Friday onsite from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications: EC Level 2 Certification and the willingness to obtain EC Level 3 Certification, or a Bachelor of Education in early childhood, First Aid Starting Wage: ~ $24.00/hr. plus provincial wage top up. The successful candidate will have: Experience working within a licenced childcare facility is an asset. Exemplary organizational and communication skills A warm rapport with children and parents The ability to learn about Waldorf education and applying its methodology in our program.
The capability to work cooperatively with our team of Early Childhood staff. Professional development and ongoing mentoring support are provided. Preference will be given to candidates with, or working towards, their Childcare or Teaching qualifications.
