Position Summary
The successful candidates for these full-time, permanent positions will be responsible for assembling orders to be shipped to schools and Division buildings as well as delivering mail and supplies.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
operating division vehicles to deliver supplies and mail to schools and other division buildings in a safe and courteous manner inspecting and loading outbound deliveries conducting pre-trip inspections and maintaining vehicle logs replenishing shelves with stock picking, packing and shipping orders with accuracy including document preparation maintaining vehicle cleanliness and good housekeeping within the warehouse participating in inventory counts ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with Division Occupational Health & Safety practices Education/Qualifications
high school diploma a minimum of two years related experience including general warehouse and delivery experience valid class 5 Alberta Operator’s License ability to lift items up to 30 kilograms experience using a forklift and/or material handling equipment knowledge and experience with computers including Microsoft Office excellent communications skills and customer service focus Rate of Pay
