Job Summary:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating the electrical and controls sections of our DFMEA database, ensuring all entries are accurate and reflect current engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze existing entries in the DFMEA database, focusing on electrical components and control systems of air handler HVAC units.
Update the DFMEA records to reflect any new data, changes in design practices, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, product managers, and quality assurance to gather necessary information and insights.
Identify potential failure modes and assess their impact on system performance and safety.
Propose and evaluate corrective actions to mitigate risks associated with electrical and control systems.
Document all findings and updates thoroughly, maintaining high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
Participate in design reviews and provide expert advice on electrical engineering matters related to HVAC systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the air handler or similar HVAC industry.
Strong understanding of DFMEA processes and principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills with fluency in English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
