Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full Time Vacancies

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful care facilities. Facility address: Cerwydden Care Home, 3243 Cowichan Lake Road, Duncan BC Position Details: Permanent Full Time – 4 days on 2 days off Permanent Full Time – 4 days on 2 days off Temporary Full Time – 4 days on 2 days off Compensation: $31.89 per hour plus benefits after probation _ Candidates who have graduated within the last two years may be eligible for our tuition reimbursement program – please enquire for more details _ Responsibilities Performs assessments.

Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures Directly supervises care staff to meet resident’s needs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). Cultural education and experience are preferred The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination.
