Licensed Practical Nurse (Casual)

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted living facilities, Kiwanis Manor. Facility Address: st Street, West Vancouver, BC, V7V 4Y3 Position Details: Casual; Create & Control your own schedule Compensation: Starting at $32.84 per hour Responsibilities Performs assessments.

Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures Directly supervises care staff to meet resident’s needs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). Cultural education and experience are preferred The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination.
