Senior Estimator

We are seeking a Senior Estimator / Project Manager who is experienced in the earthworks industry in Southern Alberta and in:

• Preparing accurate project bids;
• Managing bids and projects, from start to finish;
• Keeping projects on schedule and on budget;
• Working effectively with various project management and estimating software platforms;
• Getting results when there are competing priorities and time constraints.
• Providing timely and comprehensive reporting to Management on current bids and projects;
• Fostering good relationships with company staff, clients and subcontractors;
• Representing a business in an ethical, professional and responsible manner.

Qualifications

• University or college diploma in a relevant construction management/engineering program;
• 5 plus years experience in earthwork estimating within Southern Alberta;
• Proven project delivery, management and contract management skills;
• Excellent computer skills including experience using MS Office and various estimating software packages;
• Strong negotiating skills and experience in developing common goals;
• Strong leadership and team building skills;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
• Excellent relationship building skills and ability to problem solve;
• Must have and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
