Our firm consists of 200 dedicated CPAs and business advisors with years of experience and success. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).
Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner Answer and direct incoming telephone calls as necessary Answer and direct all incoming and outgoing communications, including mail and couriers Assist with scheduling board/meeting rooms and conference calls Document filing and organizing Provide high-quality word processing and appropriate distribution of all correspondence, engagement draft, and end-product materials Provide general team administrative support as specified or needed (including intra-team and intra-office) Actively supports and participates in firm wide initiatives Participates in the firm’s Team Development Program Promotes the firm’s Quality Control Standards Qualifications 3 years experience as a receptionist or in a related field, preferably in a professional services environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written Excellent customer service skills Carries a poised and professional demeanour at all times Has a high degree of initiative with a proactive approach to work Attention to detail, solid organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Experience with CaseWare considered an asset What We Offer The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000. Individual salaries within this range will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications. We are one of the largest independent regional firms operating exclusively in British Columbia.
