Role Description MT>Align is seeking English speaking, French speaking and fully bilingual highly-motivated junior and experienced commercial real estate lawyers to join our roster. The candidate must have experience in: The ability to provide legal counsel and guidance on all aspects of real estate acquisition, management and disposition.

Experience with property financings, construction financings, leasing matters and real property acquisitions/dispositions as well as sale and leaseback transactions. The ability to review and interpret leases in order to complete detailed and comprehensive lease review summaries. For the purchase and sale of commercial properties: experience drafting of agreements of purchase and sale, negotiation of agreement of purchase and sale from both a purchaser and vendor perspective; review of title and off-title diligence matters in providing advice to clients; negotiation of closing documents, escrow agreements and generally managing of closing logistics.

Leasing: Drafting and negotiation of commercial leases from the landlord’s perspective for commercial space including vendor leaseback, commercial condominium units and retail space. Real estate investment funds: Assistance in creation of real estate investment fund vehicles, including limited partnerships; drafting of corporate documents; limited partnership agreements, unanimous shareholders agreements, side letters and discussion of investor matters.
