We’re currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our MarCom team.

Reporting to the Corporate Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of strategic marketing initiatives at United Way. They work closely with other departments across the organization to develop marketing solutions for diverse audiences, portfolios, and projects. This role works closely with the marketing team and other departments to make data-driven marketing decisions and advance United Way’s mission of improving local lives.

If you are passionate about your community, aspire to make an impact, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a difference, then we’re looking for you What you will do: Plan strategic marketing projects Develop marketing plans in alignment with overall marketing transformation strategy and framework Create integration in marketing plans, demonstrating how diverse channels will work together to achieve the goals of each plan Align marketing plans with latest audience research, ensuring plans meet audience needs Support others in aligning with audience research Provide direction aligning with key audience research findings Participate in planning strategic approaches to marketing projects Engage internal and external stakeholders in strategic marketing planning and execution Inform, execute, and implement strategic marketing projects Execute and coordinate planning and production of marketing projects such as asset development, awareness, engagement, and fundraising campaigns, innovative and emerging work, event marketing, video production, and other projects as they arise Project manage and coordinate projects and deliverables that impact multiple stakeholders Engage MMC team and others in supporting execution of marketing campaigns, initiatives, and projects Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously Support content development, specifically copywriting, for marketing plan execution Work in collaboration across the organization to maximize insight to deliver great user experiences for diverse audiences Champion cross-functional collaboration Maintain strong relationships with key external vendors and partners Evaluate and report on strategic marketing projects Evaluate and report on marketing projects and campaigns to understand impact to make data-driven decisions in future work Share reporting across the MMC team, and beyond where appropriate, to ensure others have the context around data to make informed decisions Work collaboratively to evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns, initiatives, and projects What you will bring Experience: 5 years’ experience in marketing Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in marketing, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience Experience managing and executing strategic marketing plans Attributes: Knowledgeable about marketing principles and best practices Excellent organizational and project management skills Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Skilled in time management, with ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure Demonstrated understanding of different marketing channels and how to integrate them for maximum impact Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SharePoint and Teams a plus United, we make the biggest difference United Way is a not-for-profit organization that has played a vital role in our community for over 80 years.
