The Data & IT (D&IT) Business Office Analyst – S&IT Workforce Planning is a crucial member of the IT Business Office team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Data and IT Business Office, the D&IT Business Office Analyst plays a central role in ensuring effective processes are in place for resources and space planning related to D&IT Work Force Plan (WFP).

We are actively seeking a skilled D&IT Business Office Analyst specializing in D&IT workforce planning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our D&IT workforce, tracking resources, and enhancing space planning initiatives.
Your collaboration with the Human Resources & IT team will be crucial in ensuring that our organization’s D&IT staffing aligns with strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Responsibilities:
• Perform complex analysis for workforce plan and provide insights for decision making.
• Lead and execute comprehensive D&IT workforce planning analyses, considering current and future staffing needs, skill requirements, and alignment with D&IT and organizational goals.
• Collaborate closely with the HR team to develop and maintain accurate workforce tracking systems, ensuring real-time, reliable data for effective decision-making.
• Engage in D&IT-focused space planning activities, evaluating workspace utilization, and recommending improvements for optimal efficiency and collaboration.
• Generate D&IT-centric reports and present key findings to stakeholders, offering insights into IT workforce trends, space utilization, and actionable recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with D&IT and cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs and align workforce and space planning strategies with D&IT project timelines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT workforce planning, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the D&IT domain.
• Provide some ad hoc administrative support to senior management team in Data and IT Department.

Qualifications:
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights within an IT context is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and/or Spotfire are required.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to collaborate effectively with HR, IT professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Educational Background and Experience: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science or commerce, along with 5-10 years of strong analytical experience in large oil and gas companies in Canada.
• Proficiency in Workforce Management Tools: Experience with IT-related platforms such as SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, and Oracle is highly desirable.
