Overall Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of national and local marketing initiatives across our five franchised Full-Service Restaurant (FSR) brands in North America. The role involves coordinating the development and distribution of marketing materials, managing project timelines and deliverables, and providing logistical and administrative support to ensure that marketing campaigns and programs are executed effectively and on time.

Major Responsibilities:


  • Supporting Strategic Marketing Planning – 40% of role
  • Project Management – 35% of role
  • Collaboration & Communication – 15% of role
  • Marketing Accounting Support – 10% of role


Key Challenges

  • Managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy in the distribution of materials and information.
  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders and franchisees to deliver marketing programs effectively.
  • Adapting to changes in project direction and maintaining a high level of execution under tight time pressures.
  • Adapting writing style to suit different tones of voice across multiple brands and a variety of assets, ensuring consistency while meeting brand-specific guidelines.
  • Crafting messages that resonate with the target audience and align with brand guidelines.

Major Responsibilities:

Supporting Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Lead or assist in the management and creation of marketing materials for brand and franchise partners, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Write engaging, brand-aligned copy for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with a Creative Team to concept visuals that complement the copy.
  • Support the execution of marketing programs, including promotions, events and local restaurant marketing, as well as food and beverage menus.
  • Manage, coordinate and update brand touchpoints to ensure consistency with the overall marketing strategy.

Project Management


  • Coordinate end-to-end project management of marketing initiatives, ensuring all deliverables are on track.
  • Effectively manage your time and priorities, including project planning, execution and follow up.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans in project management software (e.g. Basecamp), including timelines, task assignments and deadlines.
  • Assign tasks, provide clear direction and ensure all stakeholders are aligned with project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress, address roadblocks and ensure timely completion of all tasks.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Facilitate communication between the marketing team, franchisees and other, internal and external, stakeholders, ensuring that all marketing initiatives are clearly understood and executed.
  • Assist with the coordination of print menu launches, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of materials to all participating locations.

Marketing Accounting Support

  • Process and code invoices accurately, working with the accounting team to ensure error-free completion and reconciliation.

Overall Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a typical office environment, with occasional travel to restaurants and events.
  • 5-Day work week (M-F)
  • Monday & Friday Remote or In-Office
  • Tuesday – Thursday Mandatory In-Office (by 9:00am)
  • Frequent conflicting work demands from multiple sources, requiring strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Occasional unexpected work demands and changes to deadlines on short notice, necessitating flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Heavy lifting > 50 lbs. on a weekly basis.

Experience/Skills/Technical Knowledge:


  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing project management or coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with Brand, Operations, Marketing, and external partners.
  • Marketing Agency experience is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an adaptability to change.

Education/Professional Credentials:

  • College or University degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred but not mandatory, depending on experience.
