Hays has partnered with an integrated local firm who are looking for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their Calgary team. This award-winning firm is made up of architects, interior designers and engineers with a common mind set to create resilient and inspiring environments for the communities they work within. Specializing in a diverse range of projects, including multifamily (mid & high rise), mountain retreats, and commercial developments across Alberta, they are renowned for their innovative designs and commitment to sustainability.



*This is a hybrid role, 2 days a week from home*

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate design and technical information with project managers, clients, public agencies, consultants and contractors
  • Collaborate with the design team to create detailed design concepts and convert them into clear, concise Design and Construction Documents
  • Coordinate and review building products, conduct building code reviews, and integrate this information into technical documents
  • Coordinate design and technical information with project managers, clients, public agencies, consultants, and contractors
  • Create detailed drawings that comply with industry standards and code requirements.
  • Collaborate directly with colleagues and external consultants to produce and coordinate high-quality, well-coordinated documents


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of Canadian experience as an Architectural Technologist, local experience is preferred
  • You will have an Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent
  • You must have strong proficiency with Revit, REQUIRED
  • Must have a fast-paced mindset and be eager to start working from day one
  • Experience in guiding a project through all phases, from start to finish
  • Have experience with multi-family residential, REQUIRED
  • Experience with high-rise buildings is an asset
  • A collaborative team player who is up for challenges
  • In-depth understanding of local building codes and bylaws is essential

The successful candidate will receive:

  • An attractive compensation package of $70,000- 85,000 (dependent on experience)
