About the Role
Simon Fraser University (SFU) is seeking an entrepreneurial self-starter for the position of Director of Global Engagement for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East to lead and drive the development of strategic partnerships and initiatives across these regions. In this leadership role, the Director will work closely with colleagues within SFU International, faculties, and other campus partners to create, implement, and evaluate global engagement strategies that enhance SFU’s presence and impact internationally. This individual will be responsible for securing new funding, building cross-regional collaborations, fostering innovative projects, and mentoring staff while raising SFU’s profile through dynamic, region-specific engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to navigate complex global landscapes, develop new funding streams and lead transformative partnerships that align with SFU’s mission and vision.
