Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology (Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan)
Location: Remote (Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan)
About the Job:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based role responsible for cultivating current and future Thought Leaders by sharing evidence-based data to support commercialized products, introduce forthcoming products, and engage those Thought Leaders in Sanofi clinical development programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with current and future Thought Leaders.
- Present data and disease management concepts on medical treatment to Physicians, Nurses, and other healthcare practitioners (HCPs).
- Contribute to developing research opportunities and educational projects at academic institutions.
- Provide therapeutic area support including response to unsolicited off-label information on products & therapies.
- Identify insights that deepen our understanding of the needs of patients, consumers, regulators, payers, and healthcare providers.
- Independently utilize the Scientific Engagement Model to plan and create territory and individual stakeholder medical strategy and engagement plans.
Key Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited university (MSc, PhD, Pharm D, MD) required.
- Minimum 1 year in an MSL function.
- Clinical experience in Dermatology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to critically appraise scientific data.
- Experience in developing and providing training and education programs.
Travel:
The MSL Dermatology will cover Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and will preferably be based in Alberta. Travel is required up to 75% of the time.
