Our client, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of engineered systems, is currently seeking an Accounting Administrator to support their Calgary office for a one-year Maternity Coverage. If you are looking for a career, not just a job, then we want to hear from you<br><br>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and send invoices and statements; track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts.</li><li>Validate, enter, and process vendor invoices; prepare vendor payments.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and vendor records in the ERP system.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements and assist with general bookkeeping duties.</li><li>Prepare reports, including expense reports and basic financial summaries.</li><li>Support payroll processing and government tax payments.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end financial preparations.</li><li>Respond to client and vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.</li><li>Provide backup support for other accounting team members.</li><li>Perform general office administration, filing, and reception coverage as needed.</li></ul>

Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Diploma in Accounting preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical, administrative, or accounting-related roles.</li><li>Previous experience in general accounting, invoicing, or payroll an asset.</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with QuickBooks and 4Castplus is a plus.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li></ul>
