We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Oil & Gas industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team in Burnaby, British Columbia.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be primarily responsible for the careful processing of AP invoices and Purchase Orders, along with the diligent management of financial records and customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Careful processing and management of AP invoices and Purchase Orders- 3 way matching


• Reviewing and setting up pricing calculations based on contract specifics.

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Conducting analysis of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, expenditures, pricing, and sales reports.


• Regularly working with both USD & CAD currency.

• Assisting with external audits on a quarterly basis.

• Conducting monthly and yearly forecasting, posting journal entries, and updating balance sheet.


• Collaborating closely with Accounts Receivable – creating billings for customers, recording them in JD Edwards, making vendor payments, and managing shipment history in spreadsheet.
