We are looking for a warm, dynamic, professional team player to fill this role in our amazing community Position is approximately 20 hours per week (shifts vary between 10 AM-5 PM and 2-7 PM) and will include alternating Saturday’s or Sunday’s with every other weekend off.ResponsibilitiesProvide a friendly and approachable image as the first point of contactMaintain a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitorsAbility to build relationships with residents, staff, and visitors while using compassion when dealing with difficult situationsManage incoming calls and transfer to appropriate individualMaintaining resident services and identify areas for improvementsRespond to resident inquiries promptlyAssist with coordination of move insOperate and maintain office equipmentGeneral administrative support; documentation, minutes, mail/courier, office supply inventory, completion of reference check documentationArrange tours of the building for familiesSupport staff meetings/family council meetingsTidying and sanitizing of main lobby area. May also include light laundry and other light housekeeping tasks on occasionOther duties as assigned to support operational requirementsQualifications and ExperienceOne (1) year experience as a Administrative Assistant or similar role is preferredExperience in a residential care setting and/or health care certification (ex.
Personal Support Worker, Health Care Aide, Community Support Worker) is an assetDemonstrated excellent client service skillsSuperior interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff and visitorsExcellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracyStrong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretionExceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritiesStrong problem solving and analytical skillsStrong computer literacy including effective working skills with Microsoft SuiteAbility to work independently and in a team settingExperience working in a fast-paced environmentCPR & First Aid Certification or willing to obtainConditions of EmploymentClear Police Information CheckClear Vulnerable Sector CheckCOVID-19 vaccination proof.
