Job Description
Hello! I am an educational assistant, and mom to three boys who are on the autism spectrum.My oldest is very helpful and knows how to use our TV. My older two are potty trained, however my youngest occasionally has accidents. Their after school routine includes coming home, taking lunches out, using the bathroom and watching a show. My middle child is very talkative and friendly, however can become overwhelmed. We practice deep breathing. None of my boys are aggressive, however do express autistic behaviors such as stimming. All use visuals as well as touch chat devices in our home. Our home is free of IPads, as we use DVDs and even VHSs.
I am needing help Monday, Wednesday, Friday, at 2:30-4pm. Thursdays from 2-4pm. PD days I will need full time need help from 8AM to 4PM.
Experience with autism or neurodivergent kids is preferred, however I am willing to provide guidance and detailed care strategies. Team work and consistency are important for my family needs. Thank you!
