Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we currently have an opportunity for an Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk Management team.

Working closely with the ERM Manager and Director, you will support the revamp/right-sizing of the ERM program, providing insightful and innovative risk guidance to all business units. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Support the refresh of the enterprise risk framework and drive the planning, execution, and reporting of multiple high-priority Risk Management engagements. Collaborate with risk owners to execute the end-to-end risk management lifecycle, including risk identification, assessment, management, ongoing monitoring (through KRIs), and reporting.

Create and present highly visual, creative management/Board deliverables and presentations capturing current and emerging risks, potential issues, opportunities, and mitigating activities. Stay abreast of industry developments including benchmarking, research, industry events, and training. Manage stakeholder relationships and communication around the project lifecycle with cross-functional teams.

Proactively develop and own relationships with key stakeholders in the business. What you have to offer: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 3 years of experience in management consulting, risk management, finance, or internal/external audit. Big 4 experience is an asset.

CRM, CFA, CGA, CMA, CPA, CA, or MBA is a strong asset. Advanced working knowledge of SQL/ACL and data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

Strong business acumen and significant exposure to risk/control mindset & frameworks. Superior communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Proven problem-solver with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
