About the role: Spira is seeking an Analyst to join our Acquisitions team in our Vancouver office. The Analyst will focus primarily on multifamily real estate acquisitions in the United States on behalf of Spira’s investment funds.

The role will work closely with senior team members across the firm. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment where organization and prioritization skills are paramount. You will have a strong work ethic to persevere and a genuine dedication to achieving excellence focusing on delivering results.

As an Analyst, you will: Perform in-depth market research to support investments and/or strategies. Prepare valuation and financial analysis on potential acquisitions. Perform extensive due diligence on each transaction, including traveling to the properties, meeting with management, coordinating with various advisors and formulating the investment strategies and business plans.

Develop and write investment committee memos and presentations and present investment recommendations. Work with the Asset Management team to implement business strategies post-acquisition. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intelligent, responsible, has sound judgment and has demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate must demonstrate: At least 1-2 years experience in real estate investment, investment banking, private equity, M&A or other relevant professional experience. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills High observation skills with close attention to detail.

The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to handle multiple projects at a time. A self-starter mentality, but with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in the real estate industry.

Confidence and self-awareness with superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to communicate complex information and issues clearly and concisely. A high level of professionalism and integrity.
