AP Manager - 6+ Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Manage the end-to-end AP process before and after go-live to keep invoice processing, approvals, and payments on track, and proactively clear exceptions and backlogs to maintain service levels.
• Triage issues, manage escalations, and drive resolutions in coordination with IT, the vendor, and stakeholders.
• Lead the AP team in support of the Serrala expansion, deliver targeted Serrala user training as needed, and reduce repeat issues through coaching and support.
• Resolve vendor master data issues by logging and tracking tickets with central procurement and ensuring timely closure.
• Complete a comprehensive handover (status updates, documentation and open items) with the departing AP Manager to ensure continuity.

About You:

• Prior AP automation system experience
• Proven experience supporting AP automation go-live, including UAT, post-launch issue resolution, and coordination with IT and external vendors
• Demonstrated people leadership in an AP environment
• Strong issue triage and stakeholder management skills

Systems Knowledge

• Expert-level SAP experience required; Serrala knowledge is a strong asset

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills

Decision Authority:

• Acts as interim AP Manager for an AP team (incl. 7 AP staff and one AP Supervisor) with authority to approve transactions, manage escalations, and coordinate with Central Finance, IT, and Procurement .

Interview & Selection

Pay Range:
$40- $50 per hour
