Apprentice Machinist

Job Description

Summary:
Tsubaki of Canada Limited is looking for an experienced Apprentice Journeyperson Machinist (2nd or 3rd year apprentice) to join our growing team in Edmonton, Alberta. We have recently expanded into our operations in Edmonton to a larger and completely renovated facility.

Shift: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday.


The ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience operating manual lathes, mills, saws, drills, and other support equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes and mills. Familiarity with Mastercam is also considered an asset


Required Skills:
  • 3+ years' experience.
  • Read and interpret drawings.
  • Set up and operate a manual lathe.
  • Set up and operate a manual vertical mill.
  • Set up and operate horizontal and vertical bandsaws.
  • Inspect parts to confirm the quality.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Operate overhead jib and gantry crane.
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Clean and organized.
