About the Role
We’re looking for experienced AS400 iSeries Software Engineers to join our team and help deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions across a mix of legacy and modern applications — hosted both on-premise and in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
You’ll work hands-on across application development, maintenance, and support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance systems that drive our business operations.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain scalable, resilient enterprise application solutions.
- Lead design and implementation of technical solutions to meet business goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Software Engineers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
- Write and review high-quality, test-driven code.
- Support and enhance existing applications while contributing to new distributed systems development.
- Promote best practices including code reviews, secure coding, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
What You Bring
✅ 5+ years of IT experience, ideally in enterprise systems development.
✅ Strong experience with AS400 – RPG, CL, DB2, ILE, and SQL.
✅ Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Aurora).
✅ Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and version control systems.
✅ Familiarity with frameworks and open-source tools.
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience in a distribution or supply chain environment is a plus.
