About the Role: The Asset Integrity Specialist is responsible for supporting GDM’s growth by ensuring our clients get the most use out of our solutions, assisting sales by demonstrating the value we provide, and working with product management to implement product enhancements. The ideal candidate is interested in progressing as an asset integrity professional and is comfortable connecting with clients to learn about their organizational objectives and needs. Success in this role requires someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills who shares a common goal with our clients to ensure energy infrastructure is being effectively and safely managed.

Responsibilities: Support sales by understanding the technical needs of prospective customers and demonstrate how our solutions solve those needs. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of energy infrastructure regulations, standards, and codes, and collaborate with the Operations team to ensure our data products meet industry best practices. Stay informed on new industry problems and regulatory requirements that require enhancements to our solutions to solve. Explain and document complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.

Collaborate with Customer Experience to onboard new clients through deskside training and support. Work with clients to migrate data from legacy systems into our solutions. Provide recommendations and assistance to clients on modifying and configuring their risk analytics. Represent the company at industry events and functions.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for internal teams to ensure an accurate understanding of client needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Petroleum, or similar field. Two or more years of experience in asset integrity including pipeline corrosion, inline inspection, field reviews, and mitigation. Energetic, persuasive, well organized, and able to connect with our clients.

In-depth knowledge of applicable industry Codes and Standards related to pipeline integrity (e.g., CSA, API, ASME) and Regulations (e.g. AER, MER, BCER, CER, and MPB) We support hybrid roles. While not every day, a regular presence in our Calgary office is required. Traits: Upbeat positive attitude when facing setbacks and always looking for an opportunity.
