An exciting period of change for our Vancouver client has created the opportunity for us to find a personable change-agent and technically strong CPA for this Assistant Controller role.
As a key member of this dynamic head office group, this role will work strategically with all lines of business while supporting the Controller as a key contributor to the financial reporting function. You will also lead & mentor a small team of CPA’s and CPA Students and help them grow and excel in their careers. From a technical perspective, experience with fund accounting and reporting for restricted contributions will make you a great fit for this role.
Equally important, our client is looking for someone who loves to ‘tell the story’ and get buy-in from various internal stakeholders for the financial and management reports you deliver. You know how to read the room and communicate appropriately while demonstrating the value-add of any new initiative.
