About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Farm Manager to join our team onsite at Lethbridge Farms, Victoria (Postcode 3332).

In this role, you will support the Farm Manager in managing daily operations within state-of-the-art, tunnel-ventilated broiler farms. You will lead a small team of about six to eight staff to ensure cost-effective and efficient bird production. You will collaborate closely with the Farm Manager, assisting with their duties and responsibilities.

About you

To qualify, you should have at least two years of supervisory experience in broiler or breeder farms. You must be confident working with staff, providing guidance and support, and adopting a collaborative approach with the farm manager.

You are efficient, detail-oriented, and proactive. You are a self-starter who works well in small teams. The ideal candidate will have the right to work in Australia, be open-minded, passionate, competent, and hands-on. A strong commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) is essential, along with a proactive approach to fostering a positive WHS culture.
