We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team.

Position Overview: The Assistant Project Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of various projects and initiatives at ICC. The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, event planning, newsletter writing, client intake, and managing our social media presence. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for community engagement and support.

Key Responsibilities Data Entry: Accurately enter and manage data related to clients, events, and projects. Maintain databases and ensure data integrity. Event Planning: Assist in planning and organizing events, workshops, and community activities.

Coordinate logistics, handle event registrations, and ensure smooth event execution. Newsletter Writing: Contribute to the creation and distribution of monthly newsletters. Gather content, write articles, and ensure timely delivery to subscribers.

Client Intake: Conduct client intake interviews, gather relevant information, and assist clients in accessing services and resources. Social Media Management: Create engaging content for social media platforms, including posters and posts. Schedule and publish posts, monitor engagement, and respond to inquiries.

General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including handling emails, phone calls, and other office duties. Required Skills and Qualifications Educational Qualifications: A diploma or degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or a relevant discipline. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role involving project coordination, event planning, data entry, or social media management.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Familiarity with design tools like Canva is an asset. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to write compelling content for newsletters and social media is key. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community members.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and other tasks. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and provide practical solutions promptly. Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings for events as needed.
