Fairway Ford is currently seeking an Automotive Painter, focusing on heavy trucks, to add to our team! The Painter is responsible for refinishing and painting vehicles and parts to dealership and manufacturer standards. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
• Mix and match paints to achieve required color and finish.
• Apply paint and finishing products using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of paint and supplies.
• Follow all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with bodyshop team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive or commercial painter (collision centre or dealership experience preferred).
• Knowledge of paint mixing systems, spray gun techniques, and refinishing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
