About Us
HI FANCY Auto Service is a rapidly expanding mechanical shop located in Saskatoon. Our business focuses on two key areas: comprehensive mechanical automotive repair and the buying and selling of vehicles. As we grow our operations, we are looking for dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking an automotive technician who takes pride in their work and can operate independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for general mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle inspections. The ideal candidate is efficient, able to diagnose issues accurately, and capable of completing specific tasks within fixed timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and inspection: Scan vehicles for inspection, accurately identify mechanical or electrical problems, and develop a comprehensive repair plan.
- Mechanical repair: Perform robust mechanical work, with a specific focus on suspension and steering components including lower control arms, wheel bearing, and power steering systems.
- Efficiency: Complete repairs and assigned tasks within designated timeframes based on the complexity of the issue.
- Independence: Work efficiently under minimal supervision, maintaining a high standard of quality control.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Location: Must currently reside in Saskatoon or area, SK.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in a mechanical shop.

- Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s licence.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, suspension systems, and diagnostic tools.
Schedule and Compensation
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Overtime: Opportunities for overtime are available as needed.
- Pay: Competitive salary (negotiated based on experience and qualifications).
- Benefits: Paid days off included.
