As a Tire and Lube Technician, youll work alongside experienced technicians, performing essential maintenance like tire services, oil changes, and inspections while building a strong foundation of skills that can accelerate you toward long-term success in the auto industry.

Compensation: $18-$22 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor.
  • Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary
  • Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health
  • Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves.
  • Installing new tires.
  • Balancing tires and completing wheel alignment procedures
  • Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
  • Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
  • Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
  • Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
  • Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed
  • Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
  • Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions


What You Bring to the Table:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a postsecondary education lube technician program is considered an asset
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair is an asset
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
