Azure Developer – ENTRA ExternalIAM Migration (34640)

Job Description

<p><p>Our client in the insurance sector is seeking an <b>Azure Developer</b> with strong <b>IAM migration experience</b>, specifically migrating identity platforms from <b>Salesforce IAM</b> to <b>Azure ENTRA External</b>.</p>
<p>This is a senior, hands‑on role requiring deep expertise in IAM technologies, cloud security, and migration strategy execution. The developer will collaborate with business, security, and IT stakeholders while designing and delivering a secure, scalable identity platform.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead the migration of the IAM platform from Salesforce IAM to Azure ENTRA External</li>
<li>Design and execute secure, scalable IAM architecture</li>
<li>Integrate Azure ENTRA External with applications, systems, and third‑party services</li>
<li>Implement best practices for identity governance, MFA, conditional access, and access control</li>
<li>Collaborate with business/security/IT teams on requirements and progress updates</li>
<li>Troubleshoot complex IAM issues throughout the migration</li>
<li>Maintain technical documentation (architecture, configurations, processes)</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience with Azure ENTRA External, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Conditional Access, Identity Governance</li>
<li>Hands‑on experience with Salesforce IAM and its integration points</li>
<li>Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, OpenID Connect (OIDC)</li>
<li>Proven IAM migration experience — ideally Salesforce to Azure</li>
<li>Familiarity with Zero Trust, RBAC, and cloud security best practices</li>
<li>Strong communication and ability to manage project timelines</li>
