A Cloud architect for a critical transformational program. The individual should be passionate about technology and experienced in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure tailored to business requirements.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including application developers, DevOps teams, data engineers, and security teams.
- Develop architecture blueprints, reference models, and design patterns.
- Ensure Azure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and cost standards.
- Guide development and implementation teams during project execution.
- Define governance, standards, and best practices for Azure environments.
- Provide technical leadership in workshops, architecture reviews, and project planning.
- Stay up-to-date with Azure services, features, and capabilities; assess impact on enterprise architecture.
Technical Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in the IT industry with a track record in Cloud, Hybrid, Data Center, and Migration projects.
- Expertise in multiple cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
- Experience with end-to-end services in data center and cloud transformation projects.
- Experience with processes and automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM.
- Ability to design complex business requirements into innovative cloud-first solutions.
- Knowledge of network and security architecture and processes.
- Ability to perform environmental analysis to identify architectural improvements.
- Experience working on complex or long-term projects.
- Ability to create, contribute to, and implement best practices in cloud operations.
- Detailed expertise in operational activities (patch management, migrations, upgrades, assessments, etc.).
