Babysitter wanted for childcare in Calgary

Job Summary

A family is seeking a trustworthy and patient babysitter for occasional care of their two-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will engage the child in fun activities, such as dance, singing, and arts and crafts.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality childcare for our little one. We are looking for someone who can create a warm and welcoming environment, helping our daughter feel comfortable and secure.

You will be responsible for engaging our daughter in various activities, such as:

• Dance: Put on some fun music and encourage our daughter to move her body.
• Singing: Sing songs together, either made-up or well-known tunes.
• Painting: Engage our daughter in creative painting sessions using various materials and techniques.
• Crafts: Help our daughter explore different craft projects, such as playdough, finger painting, and more.

We would like our babysitter to be patient, kind, and understanding, as our daughter can be shy at first. With time, she warms up and shows off her playful personality.

Please note that we live with my mom but due to personal reasons she cannot watch her alone for an extended period of time. Our small mixed-breed dog and two cats will also be present in the household.

1. Create a safe and engaging environment for our daughter.
2. Engage our daughter in activities listed above.
3. Establish a daily routine that includes time for rest, play, and meals.
4. Communicate effectively with us regarding any concerns or issues that may arise.

This position requires English language proficiency, as all communication should be in English.
