Job Description
*Overview*We are seeking a hotel, dining Room skilled and experienced Bartender. The ideal candidate will to have knowledge with current wine selections, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, ensuring a high level of hospitality while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. Your ability to manage effectively and engage with customers will be key to enhancing their experience at our establishment.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including handling and safety practices.
* Operate the POS system efficiently, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
* Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking orders and making recommendations.
* Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
* Uphold all health and safety standards in accordance with food industry regulations.
*Requirements*
* HI End Restaurant Bartending experience is necessary
* Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus.
* Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
