Nous recherchons un(e) bookkeeper expérimenté(e) pour soutenir la direction dans la gestion financière et contribuer à la performance et à la stabilité de l'entreprise.


Responsabilités principales:
  • Effectuer la tenue de livres complète (QuickBooks).
  • Gérer les comptes fournisseurs et clients.
  • Soutenir la direction dans la préparation budgétaire et les prévisions financières.
  • Produire les rapports TPS/TVQ et assurer la paie.
  • Effectuer les conciliations bancaires mensuelles.
  • Préparer les rapports financiers mensuels et trimestriels.
  • Maintenir la conformité fiscale et la rigueur des processus comptables.


Profil recherché:
  • Minimum 3 ans d'expérience en tenue de livres ou comptabilité.
  • Excellente maîtrise d'Excel et d'un logiciel comptable (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.)
  • Bonne connaissance des normes fiscales canadiennes et québécoises (TPS/TVQ, CNESST, DAS).
  • Sens du détail, rigueur et confidentialité.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement en évolution.
  • Bilingue français et anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.
  • Expérience dans le secteur de la restauration ou de l'hôtellerie (atout important).

About Us:
Founded in 1952, Le Duc de Lorraine is Montreal's oldest French pastry shop. Renowned for its signature cakes, fine pastries, bistro, and warm service, the establishment is entering an exciting phase of modernization and growth.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to support management in financial operations and contribute to the company's stability and performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full bookkeeping duties (QuickBooks or equivalent).
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Assist management with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Prepare and submit GST/QST reports and process payroll.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Ensure tax compliance and maintain strong accounting accuracy.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong command of Excel and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Canadian and Quebec tax regulations (GST/QST, CNESST, source deductions).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector is a strong asset.
