As a Business Developer , you will play a key role in expanding our customer base in the province of Ontario, Canada , strengthening our market presence, and driving revenue growth. You’ll be at the forefront of agricultural innovation, showing stakeholders how our technologies can help farmers boost productivity and profitability in a sustainable way.
You’ll be responsible for expanding our reach by turning your connections—and your ability to make new ones—into tangible growth. Your leadership and influence will be felt daily as you travel across your assigned region, supporting your team and forging strong partnerships with Ag Retailers. Whether it’s establishing key relationships in your territory or scaling impact across broader markets, you’ll be a strategic force in unlocking growth opportunities.

Key objectives include: Strategy & Development

Leverage your network and talent for building relationships to unlock new business opportunities.
Lead and support the sales team in achieving their goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Ag Retailers and growers to ensure a robust distribution network.
Represent our brand at industry events and support the launch of marketing campaigns with distributors and key accounts.
Contribute to regional P& L and logistics management, identifying and acting on growth opportunities.
Develop and execute a regional sales plan focused on revenue growth.
Lead regional forecasting e????orts and report insights to the Business Unit Manager.
Balance administrative responsibilities while actively supporting your team and partners in the field.
Collaborate with our local and international teams to share best practices and foster innovation. Required profile:

The right person:
A strong networker and relationship-building mindset to open new door. A confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to engage large teams. Results-driven, energetic, and passionate, with a proactive and assertive mindset. Skilled in negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing key stakeholders. Organized and efficient, with excellent time management and administrative capabilities. A natural leader and coach, capable of guiding and developing sales consultants. A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, able to manage complex deals and high-volume activity. Holds a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license. Brings at least 4 years of experience in agriculture (farming and/or agronomy). Is proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and client management software (CRM).

What we offer:

Work Environment:

Work location is flexible within the province of Ontario.
We are remote based company, allowing you to conduct administrative work from the comfort of your home. Although we are remote first, we are always able to collaborate and help each other out through different channels.
Up to 80% (4.5-5 days a week) travel within territory and occasional overnight travel is required.
Indoor and outdoor conditions.
Driving conditions: summer, winter, spring, and fall.
