The Total Sanitation Services family of brands now has strategically located branches in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. We are currently pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions of leading portable sanitation providers throughout North America.

About the Role You can’t grow as fast as we are without needing someone to help parse the data Our newly created Business Intelligence Analyst role will be a key advisor to the leadership team, improving our decision-making and helping to transform our team to data-driven leaders. This is about so much more than pulling reports, although you’ll do that too This role is about digging deep to understand the data, assist us in developing meaningful metrics and associated reporting, and analysing our performance financially, operationally, and in sales.

We’re not looking for someone behind the scenes, we’re looking for someone who will take centre stage and provide insightful recommendations that will help us improve our business performance and grow sustainably. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using PowerBI. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes and performance.

Collaborate with various departments/business units to understand their reporting needs and translate these into technical requirements. Conduct thorough data analysis to extract meaningful insights and trends. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Maintain data warehouse. Create and maintain documentation for all reports, dashboards, and BI processes.

Work closely with the IT team to ensure data availability and reliability. Partner with operations, finance, sales, and other teams to provide analytical support and ensure their data needs are met. Train and support end-users on BI tools and reports.

Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies. Identify opportunities to improve BI processes and tools. Participate in the development and implementation of new BI initiatives.

Qualifications University degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. 3 years of experience in similar roles Experience working with private equity is preferred Proficiency in PowerBI, Snowflake, Tableau, Qlik or other similar tools Experience with data warehousing, SQL, data management, data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization best practices Excellent computer skills, including Excel, SQL, and learning new software quickly Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy What We Offer We offer competitive compensation packages, work from home options, benefit plans and career growth opportunities.
