Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) acts as a link between business needs and technological solutions. He or she analyzes processes, defines functional requirements, and supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's business systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements. Translate these requirements into functional and non-functional specifications aligned with company objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes, design improved solutions, and recommend optimizations based on data, feedback, and operational efficiency.
  • Documentation and Testing: Produce and maintain key documentation (requirements, process flows, use cases, test scenarios). Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Solution Design and Evolution: Collaborate with IT teams and business units to design scalable solutions. Oversee system updates, maintenance, and the system lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops and ensure communication between users, IT, and external vendors.
  • Change Management and Training: Contribute to change readiness, knowledge transfer, and user training.
  • Data and Integration: Support data mapping and validation, ensuring consistency and quality across platforms.
  • Support: Provide Level 3 support for complex issues and act as the point of contact with vendors for Level 4 support.
Qualifications

  • Collaboration and requirements management tools: Confluence, Azure DevOps
  • Modeling and diagramming: Visio
  • Documentation: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint
  • Support and request management: Ivanti
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
  • HCM/HRIS: Dayforce, Workday or SuccessFactors (Asset)
  • ERP: D365 or Odoo (Great asset)
  • Data tools: Basic knowledge of SQL and reporting/BI tools, Power BI (Asset)
  • Bilingual: French - English
