What You'll Do:

As our Project Manager, you will take on a central role in every initiative. Your insights will steer project directions, and your decisions will have a direct impact. You're commissioning and or construction experiencewith a heavy focus on electricalwill be essential. Even if you havent been on the tools yourself, extensive experience working with or managing commissioning teams is crucial.

Your RoleInAction:

  • Lead a portfolio of concurrent projects, balancing priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and resources across multiple job sites
  • Drive disciplined execution usingstandard PM processes(scope control, change management, documentation standards, and closeout)
  • Ensure projects progress according toscope, schedule, budget, and quality standardswith clear weekly forecasting and recovery plans
  • Monitor and control costs: trackbudgets, commitments, actuals, productivity, and variances; take corrective action early
  • Manage project scope and changes: track overall budget, out-of-scope (RFIs/changes), and keep customers informed with clear documentation
  • Build andmaintainproject plans that look ahead(26+ weeks):manpowerplanning, material readiness, constraints, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with Field Leads to forecastmanpowerrequirements and schedules across all active projects; resolve conflicts and constraints proactively
  • Provide on-site leadership by building and motivating teams to meet project goals and milestones
  • Own full project lifecycle delivery: initiation to closeoutincluding turnover readiness, documentation completion, and lessons learned
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases; ensure plans are realistic, resourced, and actively maintained
  • Prepare audit documentation andmaintainquality standards across all projects
  • Procure resourcesrequiredto achieveobjectivesby assigned in-service dates,without sacrificing safety or quality
  • Run a consistent communication cadence: customer progress meetings, internal check-ins, and clear project status reporting
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs;anticipateimpacts before they become issues
  • Delegate tasks effectively and follow through to completion, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks when managing multiple projects

Position Overview:

Job Type: Project Manager, Commissioning Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Industrial Project Manager

Work hours: Full-time

Compensation Structure: Salary + Bonus

Benefits: Health benefits contribution, ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Options

Location: Edmonton, AB with plans to add a location in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Position Requirements:

Project Management Certification: PMP

Minimum of 5 years project management experience in the Construction or Energy industry

Journeyman Electrician, Instrument or Mechanical Technician
5+ years of E&I experience

Commissioning-specific experience a plus

Valid driver's license
