Job Description
<ul><li>Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate</li><li>Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years</li><li><h2>Tasks</h2><br></li><li>Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements</li><li>Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools</li><li>Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials</li><li>Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems</li><li>Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware</li><li>Supervise other workers</li><li>Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments</li><li><h2>Support for newcomers and refugees</h2><br></li><li>Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees</li><li><h2>Support for youths</h2><br></li><li>Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth</li><li><h2>Support for Indigenous people</h2><br></li><li>Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations</li><li>Work Term: Permanent</li><li>Work Language: English</li><li>Hours: 35 hours per week</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
