Our client, a premier hospitality organization in the beautiful Greater Vancouver area, is seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and elevate their dynamic, multifaceted facility. This is a prestigious organization, offering an unparalleled experience. As COO, you’ll be the driving force behind seamless operations, collaborating closely with the GM/CEO to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll also craft innovative, long-term strategies that enhance the guest experience and elevate the community. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of various departments Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and operational standards are met. Manage the financial health of the Operations department by overseeing budgets, cost controls, and financial planning.

Ensure monthly and yearly financial goals are achieved, and approve bi-weekly payroll. Direct procurement, asset management, and capital planning to optimize resource utilization. Plan and manage staffing schedules, address long-term staffing needs, and monitor labor costs.

Lead the recruitment, training, and management of operations staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and coaching to ensure team members meet service standards and organizational goals. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and regularly present strategic updates to the Board of Directors.

Ensure exceptional service for members and guests, addressing their needs promptly and professionally. Leverage feedback to enhance operations and boost member satisfaction. What You’ll Need: A minimum of 7 years in senior managerial positions, preferably within private organizations, recreation, or hospitality.

Proven experience managing multiple facilities and large, diverse teams. Strong project and financial management skills. Your own transportation (due to the location).

Willingness to obtain a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector search. Bonus Points: Engineering experience – though not a deal-breaker, it’s definitely a plus. A knack for fitting in with and enhancing the culture of the Senior Leadership team.

Experience with board-level interactions – an asset, but not essential. A visionary mindset with a hands-on approach to tasks, big or small. Perks & Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packages for full-time employees.
