Job Description
Carrington Physio & Rehab is looking for a part time or full time Chiropractor to join our healthcare practice. We are well established Multidisciplinary health clinic located in NW of Calgary. The right candidate will be a creative, innovative and dedicated team player who is willing to work as part of a dynamic practice which consists of Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, specializing in pain management and holistic treatment approaches.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing a patient's physical abilities and needs
- Developing a treatment plan according to the patient's individualized needs
- Prepare medical reports and assessments
- Implementing programs including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, education, and the use of electro-therapy
- Therapeutic and other mechanical equipment and hydrotherapy
- Providing consultation or injury prevention and health promotion
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
Skills:
- Must be licensed with the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC) and is in good standing with their association.
- Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making and analysis.
- The ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Full Registration with provincial Alberta College/Association of Chiropractor
- Must be holding Professional liability insurance.
- Acupuncture / Dry Needling (IMS) is an asset
- Have understanding of MVA and insurance will be beneficial.
