What You’ll Do:
As a GeologicAI Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of client success. You’ll forge and strengthen strategic relationships with key clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met while managing client engagement throughout a project lifecycle. Collaborating closely with project geologists, you’ll proactively address client challenges, unlocking values and driving project outcomes that exceed expectations. This role will also contribute to technical papers and use cases that showcase the impact of our solutions, amplifying our “Scan to Plan” initiatives. Your dedication will play a vital role in deepening partnerships and advancing our technological leadership in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. This will include in-person and digital client engagement to ensure client satisfaction.
- Project Oversight: Manage project scoping and execution of deliverables along side project geologists and operations to ensure value driven objectives and key deliverables are met, within scope, and within budget. Support project geologists with client-facing requirements, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the Discovery team and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of innovative data and technology solutions. Contribute to the development of technical papers, use cases, and other documentation.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products, services, and technical capabilities and their impacts on the mining industry. Leverage this knowledge to provide proactive support and identify expansion opportunities and steady project growth.
- Client Advocacy: Understand clients’ business goals, technical requirements, and challenges. Act as a client advocate within the company, ensuring that their needs are communicated effectively to internal teams.
- Contract Management: Assist in contract development and renewals by demonstrating the value and ROI of our offerings. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships through additional products or services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and support, to address client needs and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Industry Experience: 5-10 years of technical experience within the mining industry. Experience in account management is an asset but not required.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages for clients. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and understanding across all levels of the organization.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Excellent time management skills enable efficient task prioritization, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
