Coating Installers
Job Description
Our busy client is seeking Coatings Installers in Calgary for the upcoming summer season. These positions are to start as soon as possible so don't wait - apply todayResponsibilities:
- 2+ years' experience in a related position is required
- Good understanding of the properties of concrete, resins, hardeners, and sealers
- Knowledge and understanding of company materials, machinery, and installation techniques
- Experienced with shot blasting, diamond grinding, concrete polishing, joint filling, self-leveling, waterproofing, tank
- linings, polyurethane, MMA, and epoxy flooring.
- Able to meet installation deadlines and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Experience reading blueprints is an asset, including the ability to take direction and execute plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with concrete floor repair and restorative services.
- A team player who is eager to learn new skills.
- Punctual with an excellent work ethic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding duties.
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license with clean abstract
- Maintain equipment and kept vehicles always organized and clean.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- CSA-approved steel-toed safety footwear and hard hats are required.
- Very good command of the English language (speak, read, write, and understand).
- Certificates (WHMIS 2015, CPR, Confined Space/Fall Arrest, etc.)
