Commercial Insurance Advisor Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Location 1: Brunette Office – 552 Clarke Rd , Coquitlam, BC V3J 3X5. The Opportunity: Collaborate with our commercial team to plan, develop, and market new and renewed business for our clients as a Commercial Insurance Advisor.

We seek a Regular Full-Time team member with a solid grasp of the insurance industry and the ability to foster positive working relationships. Join us at our Brunette Office – 552 Clarke Rd , Coquitlam, BC V3J 3X5. Responsibilities: – Prepare RFQs, proposals, and binders for submission – Understand client needs thoroughly; maintain strong connections with underwriters, business development managers, producers, and account managers – Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of insurer products and target sectors to provide optimal coverage solutions – Analyze client coverage requirements, exposures, and loss history; offer specific risk management recommendations – Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service, addressing queries on insurance availability and coverage eligibility – Enhance technical and market expertise through ongoing training and networking – Uphold a strong work ethic and a commitment to success daily – Represent AMC Insurance professionally in the market and foster relationships with insurers Education and Skills required: – Level 2 BC General Insurance license – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance – Proficient in interpreting insurance policies and possessing strong technical knowledge – Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy – Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Team player with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment – Proficient in Word & Excel Preferred Assets: – Pursuing or holding CAIB certifications – Strong questioning and presentation skills, risk assessment enjoyment, and adept negotiation abilities If you possess these qualities, this role could be an ideal fit for you.
