Your new role

The Community Manager, reporting to the Property Manager, oversees the administrative and maintenance operations at Fraser Pointe 2, which serves both Fraser Pointe 1 & 2, totalling 360 residential units.

Responsibilities include managing on-site and mobile staff, approving vacation requests, addressing personnel issues, and conducting inspections. The role involves overseeing housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and repairs, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring quality standards. The Community Manager also handles tenant relations, rent collection, and tenancy violations, participates in fire and life safety procedures, supports budget preparation, monitors expenses and revenue, and ensures accurate records.

Additionally, they assist with rental rate changes, tenant appreciation events, and sustainability initiatives.



What You Need to Succeed:

The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, building systems, and maintenance, along with excellent communication skills. They should possess leasing and marketing experience, proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Office and Yardi, and demonstrate strong leadership and multitasking abilities. A clear criminal record and credit check are required, and they must become proficient in various software systems such as Yardi, UltiPro, Keyscan, CCTV, and Suite Spot.



What You Will Receive in Return:

In exchange for your commitment to the role, you will enjoy a competitive salary, including a base salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, along with other benefits such as 4 weeks of vacation, extended health benefits from day one, a defined pension, tuition reimbursement, health spending account and parking.
