Our client is a technical consultancy providing Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. They are searching for a motivated and energetic Construction Coordinator. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities


  • Coordination of meetings;
  • Preparing meeting agendas;
  • Preparing and distributing meeting minutes;
  • Follow up on action items and deliverables;
  • Prepare project update reports, as needed (e.g., weekly and/or monthly);
  • Prepare technical reports for inspections and repairs;
  • Onsite inspections and construction monitoring
  • Attend virtual and/or site meetings and communicate directly with clients, consultants and contractors;
  • Prepare, compile and review submittal packages (e.g., permit packages, engineered drawings, etc.);
  • Provide technical and administrative support through all phases of the project;
  • Support project teams to help achieve safety, quality and commercial goals;
  • Work with document control to maintain an orderly and secure filling system for records;
  • Perform site inspections;
  • Other duties as required.

Idea Candidate Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working on a Construction Site
  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) or the relevant regulatory body.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools relevant to the specific field (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, etc.).
  • Experience or education in Building Construction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports and documentation.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
